Sometimes school fields are closed but Miller park fields are open due to the amount of attention the LLL volunteers put into them.  We communicate with Parks & Rec when we feel we can play on days where the school fields are closed. If your event is at Miller park (Bradford, Lloyd or Happy Lee), check here or call 384-2407 for field closure information.  If the message at that number does not state the current day and date, then the Miller Park fields are open for that day.   If your event is at a school field (Perrymont, Linkhorne, Sandusky, TC Miller or Bass Elementary), get field closure  information at teamsideline.com/lynchburg  If you receive a text or email from either Parks & Rec or LLL, make sure and note where the event is (school or Miller Park and see if that message applies.  If your child is playing at Miller Park and you receive a message from Parks & Rec that fields are closed, that does not necessarily mean his game is cancelled.  You'll want to check here.  However if he is playing at Perrymont and the message comes in, you can consider it cancelled.
