More T-Ball and Lower Minors Games at Miller Park this Season
posted 12/15/2011 by Steve Selby

In the past all T-ball and Coach pitch (Lower Minors) games were played at the Perrymont, Sandusky, and Linkhorne Elementary fields.  Those fields are good for the younger players because they don't hit many out of the infield.  Two years ago, Lynchburg Little League started scheduling one or two games for each team at Miller Park to give the younger kids a chance to play on the big kid fields.

It was such a success that this year it is being expanded.  Details of scheduling are still being worked out.  The target is to play half of our T-ball and Coach Pitch games at Miller park.

This will be a scheduling challenge.  The fields are already heavily used, but it is very important to provide the best experience possible for kids of all ages.  Playing more games at Miller park gives the younger players a chance to use Lynchburg Little League's best fields.  It also helps T-ball and Coach Pitch families to see all the activities that Lynchburg Little League provides.

This season, enjoy your T-ball and Coach Pitch games at Miller park and  enjoy watching some of the big kid games too.
